Be@Clinton West was the second in SDS's series of “be@” properties: thoughtfully designed, high-quality residences tailored to young urban professionals and their social lifestyle with attractive, generously sized common area amenities. It was the first development built over the Amtrak rail lines south of 57th Street in over 20 years.

 

The project was originally designed as a rental building, but SDS recognized and seized on a unique set of market conditions and, prior to completion, adjusted the program to create a residential condominium utilizing a greenhouse lounge as a “link building” connecting north and south lobbies. This seven-story, 147-unit property sold out within eight days in the summer of 2005.
